Thank you for your interest in the Efficacy of Diet on Quality of Life in Multiple Sclerosis study!

You are invited to participate in a research study to evaluate the effect of three dietary interventions (Modified Paleo Elimination, Time Restricted Olive Oil Based (TROO) Ketogenic, and your usual diet with the addition of educational information) on quality of life, including long-term effects on, motor function, vision sensitivity, fatigue, mood, and disease activity. This will be assessed by online surveys, study participant tasks, and brain imaging.

The study will be conducted at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Patients will be followed for two years. In person visits will occur at baseline, month 3, and end of study.

The form below will ask for basic contact and demographic information and ask if you would like to be contacted in the future and be part of our research registry. There is no obligation to participate in the research registry or future studies you are not interested in. Please complete the contact information below and you will be directed to our study screening survey.

Thank you for your interest in our research! Please see this short video from the principal investigator Dr. Terry Wahls:
